Why is this site so plain? Have you ever heard of KISS? Keep It Simple Stupid. We firmly believe in this. If we were a web design company we'd probably have a much prettier site, but we're focused on the content, and we don't want to bog the site down with tons of graphics and extras that just aren't needed. Have you ever heard of craigslist, or perhaps Google? No, we're not comparing ourselves to either of those companies, obviously, but we have the same sort of philosophy when it comes to our site designs. Simple but functional. Less is more, and all that jazz. So, that is why this site is so plain. That's not to say we're not always looking for ways to improve the site, because we are, we're just very careful about not putting too much "crap" on here so it stays lean and fast. However, if you think you have a great idea for the site, just send us a message and we'll see what we can do. If it's something that's going to benefit our site users, we'll definitely try our best to do it. |
